"Can addin' to much stabal

"Can addin' to much stabalizer to one's 2 cycle mix cause any ill effects on an outboard motors preformance? Also, if to much oil is added ta' mix ~ I'm assumin' that the <u>only</u> detection will be excessive smoke!? Pre-thanks..."

"too much stab,....depending on how much,..could potentially cause piston/ring scuffing.too much oil,dependent on how too much,..will cause rough idle,excessive smoke,hard starting,fouling plugs,sluggish accelleration and lowered HS rpm's."

"When you bought an engine you were advised to run double the amount of oil in the fuel for the first 20 hours then run it on 50:1, These engines ran ok but did blow out more smoke than running 50:1. You would really have to stuff up the mix to effect the motors performance."
