I have a 85 Johnson 30 horse. Yesterday the thing ran like it was new today not so much. When I had it at full throttle it acted like it was cutting out and didn't have the power like it normally would. Then it shut off. The primer bulb is hard and works fine so I know it's not the fuel tank and hose. When I pull on the primer it just acts like its pumping air and no fuel. I had the carb rebuilt 2 years ago and always run seafoam every 4 or so tanks of gas. The thing usually starts on the 1st or 2nd pull and runs like new. Any thoughts? Fuel pump? Something in the carb?
