" Hi guys sure enjoy reading your post here. i have a ? on the gas line from tank to motor, i took my conn. of my motor to see if gas was coming out of it, pumped the bulb it got hard, is my bulb bad just alittle gas came out should it make a stream of gas. the bulb is hard but no gas coming out lol sound dirty dont it lol "

"Frank.... The fuel primer bulb has two valves. The outgoing valve has come apart, letting the inner component drop down inside the bulb momentarily. Eventually that inner part will go back inside the valve housing (in the bulb), but it has gone in backwards which in effect closes off the fuel flow.

The cure is to either buy a new valve, or put the original valve back together properly.
