Gas leak

i have 88 xp 150 i was wonderi

i have 88 xp 150 i was wondering if some one could help me figure out a gas leak i dont see it in boat but when i get on water and sittin idling i can see the water get a gas scum on the water i can smell gas does anyone have any ideas thx

Yep if the engines running ok

Yep if the engines running ok it will be unburnt fuel from the exhaust causing the scum on the water nothing to worry about
