Gas consumption - fuel/ water separator.

I have a 1994 90hp evinrude 2 stroke, it died in the lake the other day and when we diagnosed it we found a good amount of water in the gas. I’d like to install a fuel water separator, but I can’t seem to find how many GPH this motor needs. Any suggestions on either a GPH or water separator I should get?
thanks

2S outboards roughly burn 10% of HP at WOT, or about 9 gph in your case. Typically, a 10 micron FW separator is recommended. Racor and Yamaha are two good names to consider, with various models (such as a see thru bowl) to choose from.

I was hoping for one that had a clear bowl so I could see the water, as well as drain it.
Thanks
Just do a simple search, those are available too. No need to worry about flow rate. Any of the spin on filter systems with 3/8" fittings will provide plenty of volume for your engine.
