Why after hitting a rock under 10 mph code 34 oil fault appears and after that restarting motor there’s no code 34 for about 10 mins and it would show again then restart the motor again no code 34 and then it appears again, even the lower unit dont have a dent just a little scratch

Are you sure you hit a rock?-----Best to check gear oil in the lower unit.------Check for metal bits.
Yes it hit a rock but it triggered a code 34 and i changed the gear oil every year the magnet on a screw had a metal shavings but it’s seems to be normal wear, so I’m thinking when it hit a rock the emm is damage now?

EMM damaged is far fetched thinking in my opinion.-----See a dealer that might be interested in helping you.
I fixed the issue there was another oil pump that I didn’t know, the wire was disconnected, I zip tie it so it won’t disconnect, after plugging it I test ran it for about 2 hours the fault code 34 never appeared again

I’m having the same issue. I changed the water pump on both motors and now I’m getting code 34 oil fault. I’ve re connected the oil pump on the back side of the motor but still getting the code.
What other pump did you find?
Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated!
