I have a 1992 Evinrude 8 hp 2-

I have a 1992 Evinrude 8 hp 2-stroke. Can anyone tell me the correct mix I should be running....I thought it was 50:1. Thanks!

"Thanks for the info. One other question. I recently bought this motor used and decided to take off the prop and grease the shaft, and noticed it was clean as a whistle! Do these engines not require grease on the prop shaft?!?!?!?!"

You caught it just in time use gasket sealer yes gasket sealer it will last for years and you will never have a frozen prop on the shaft
