Fueloil mix 63 Johnson 10 HP

I have been running a 50:1 rat

I have been running a 50:1 ratio in my 63 Johnson 10 H.P. using Evinrude/Johnson xd30 2 stroke outboard oil for about 30 gallons now since July. I noticed here on forum some say to go with 24:1 with this year and others say 50:1 is ok? Should I continue at 50:1??

"Chris some of those engines built in 63 had the right inards to run on the 50 to 1 mix and you may have one of them. Joe reeves on here can tell you for sure or not. If it hasn't had a failure since 30 gals, i wouldn't worry about it myself."
