I have a 2007(2006) Mercury 50 4stroke with EFI and I have fuek venting from the line on the bottom left side of the motorbelow the vapor seperator. Runs fine with some minor RPM hunting at the top end. Any suggestions for of the problem and a fix?

Re: Fuel venting

Yes it appears to be from that line. I did not see a drain screw. This hose comes from the top of the VST and goes down the front of the VST and exits through the motor case. It has a white plastic ring ay the exit point. Should there be a drain screw attached to this part?

Re: Fuel venting

Just to ensure we are talking about the same part. Te VST - immediately aft of the starter has 4 fuel fittings on the upper part as well as an electrical connecter. It is silver in colour and has an air valve on the front surface. The line/fitting on the top of the inboard back side goes over the top of the VST and straight down to the motor case. When it comes through to the bottom side of the case it is a white plastic threaded pipe. I applied a bit of air to the air valve and got about 4 oz of fuel out of this pipe. In your parts diagram It would #2.
