a few.... 1) take one of your old relays and go to the autoparts store...they will provide you the same part for much less...2) if the engine fails to crank, and you've changed the relay, it may be the neutral safety switch - if the engine cranks over, with the starter, but won't run, it may be the oil pressure switch controlling the fuel pump.....3) you are very likely to save money and future aggrevation by not throwing parts at the issue...do some troubleshooting and find the real cause and then eliminate it...

when i replace relay it will start right up,ive cleaned every electrical conector on both engines(taken off /dielectric goop/reconected) same issue.was hopeing someone else had same problem and found the gremlin, not sure where to go next.thought it was bad ground somewhere but havent found issue yet.thanks for info.

If the issue is consistent and gets 'resolved' when the relay is 'changed', you might want to give the relay socket a thorough inspection....sometimes, the contacts in the sockets get corroded and sometimes the retainer tabs break or get worn down...the end result is a poor connection with the relay...

makomark, you steered me in the right direction, upon inspection of neutral switches they had some green on them.cleaned them up works great and so does all my bad relays all 5 now i have a life time of spares.ps you can get them for 13.00 at auto zone any 1995 gm truck. thanks for the help

Glad to help...spares are good but 5 is a bit much....maybe put a few in the truck???

You can get them for a lot less than that at AZ's competitor.... :)
