working on a 1977 omc 235 HP , the gas gauge stays on E I put 10 gallons of fuel in pulled the sending unit ,with the wires on moved the arm and I have reading on the fuel gauge . So I thought it was the float , bought a Moller replacement sending unit installed it and no reading on the gauge , took it out and when I move the float arm the gauge a reading shows on the dash gauge . any ideas ?
