"I have twin 97 Crusader 454 XLi's and have experienced a rash of relay failures over the past 3 years. The same relay is used twice for each engine. I had the original problem solved by a Marine engine mechanic after consulting with a Crusader technical rep. Since then I have replaced 4 myself, and it has been on both engines. Space for moving in the engine room is limited and my electrical skills are nearly non-existing, but I am determined to find the problems. Does anyone have help for idiots, like "marine electronics for dummies.""
