ok guys advise on this issue. I have a low idle cough and rough idle. I just did all carbs and a bunch of other stuff. You can see it all in my other post. I replaced the hose from the new pump which is a pre mix pump with a clear hose to the fuel distribution tree. So im running engine and see a ton of air bubbles i this line and engine is stumbling at idle. I remove thge bulb hose from bulkhead fitting and stick it in a 5 gallon gas tank with pre mix and no air bubbles and engine runs good. Im also running engine in a tub of water. so I think my whole issue is it sucking air somewhere from bulkhead fitting to tank. What do you guys think. Im a 30 year caterpillar technician and I know air is bad on Diesels.
