Fuel pump replacement cost

Just got a quote of $2600 for the cost of an engine fuel pump PART ONLY on a 2012 regal 4060. Does that seem right? The only fuel pumps cost I've seen online are a few bucks to couple hundred.

I'm assuming it's Diesel- look online for the part number. Shop around- you don't need to buy it from only that source/dealer.

I asked for the price of an upper gearcase oil seal on an older Mercruiser Alpha MR/R from 1984- the dealer said it was $67. I don't know if that included the carrier, but it's still high and I used to work for one of their other locations. I found one for much less, for only the seal.
