I'm wanting to swap the vr

I'm wanting to swap the vro with a fuel pump. i have a part #(438557) but i'm not sure if it will work on my motor. Model #TE70TLCEM

"looks like u have an 89 70.....get a pump,fr a 83..70...tonite,i cant get any fuel pumps prior to 84 to come up on shop.evinrude.com...sooo...i would say,go w/the sierra,3 hose pump....in--out,and pulse.......you'll be just fine....or u can get the factory fuel pump only,repl pump...if you'll email me directly at my shop email,i'll loo it up,in my acc book,..but,...the sieraa would do the trick..at about 1/3 the cost i think."
