Good Morning,
I am having a fueling problem with an old Volvo Penta bb70. The new electric fuel pump will only pump fuel for a second or two when the starter is bumped. The pump is wired from a 3 wire sending unit attached to the head and is wired to the starter solenoid, coil, and fuel pump.
The coil and starter seem to be fine, just no fuel is getting to the carb. We have checked the filter and lines for blockage and it all seems ok as well.
I'm sure this is mechanics 101 but I'm kinda stumped. Is it a bad sending unit?
Cheers,
Stokes
