fuel pump help

hello I have a 1978 175 hp Evanrude outboard # 175840c i need a replacement fuel pump for the upper unit oem # 0038854. all are listed discontinued. are there any updated or other models that will replace it ?

Replacements are clearly listed here on this site.-----But I would never spend beer tokens on a new pump.----Repair kit ( $21.28 ) or simply a new diaphragm is my choice.
