"Problem with fuel pump. Have

"Problem with fuel pump. Have rebuilt pump repalced all fuel lines, rebuilt carbs (made a big differance in performace) But still suffering fuel starvation at high speed. Can pump bulb and it will pick back up. Also hard to get started cold until I can get the carbs full of gas.

Question would an external in line electric fuel pump"

"something else is wrong. it should fire right up cold after you pump the bulb and engage choke. check choke for operation, compression test the cyl's (they work the fuel pump),try a different fuel line and tank. fix the problem don't bypass it"
