fuel line question

can you run seperate fuel lines to each carb on mercury 1150 inline six and how can you tell if carb is actually squirting fuel so that the pistons are getting oil lubrication

Get the engine ready to start by priming and such but leave the key OFF and then take a pair of pliers shorting across the starting solenoid and spin it over for 20 seconds or thereabouts. Pull the plugs. If wet I'd assume that cylinder was getting fueled. Dry before reinstalling.
