OMC fuel bulb, not after market ones like
attwood. Can anyone explain the difference or
what problems could occur ???

... I havent heard that, ive seen some, but mostly on smaller outboards., but I've Always bought the factory ones. I think the Attwood rubber didnt stand up as long as the OMC. ( cracking, deteriorating)But that was when i was in the business quite a few years ago."

"The cheap bulbs split lengthwise, usually when you really can't afford that to happen. The factory ones seem to "ugly away", and don't seem to have this problem. I have old ones that are ten years old and going strong. Some of the new ones I am lucky to get two seasons out of."
