Fuel Leak

I am the owner of a Yamaha 75HP outboard...fuel is present on the water when ever the engine is in operation.
Also it drops its speed considerably when travelling.
The engine is attached to a 26 ft pirogue fishing boat..

Seeking some guidance...

Your entry is in the wrong forum... you need to have it inserted in the "Yamaha" forum. However, I'd suspect that you have a obvious fuel line leak somewhere under that hood, a cracked fuel pump diaphram, or a flooding carburetor
