Heading back to the ramp and power tapers off and dies. Pump the fuel line bulb and after a bunch of times make it back to the ramp. At the ramp I close the breather knob on the remote tank and head for home. Park in the drive in direct GA sun and leave it for about an hour. Come back out and have fuel all over the back of the boat and leaking out of the remote fuel line and the engine connection.
The question is …when remote tanks breather is closed and pressure builds due to sun is there an engineered release…..was my leak a planned event. Also, if not, can excess pressure cause fuel pump, etc. damage.
