"I am planning to remove the fuel injectors for both of my 8.2s this winter to send them out for bench cleaning, any special techniques or tools needed for doing this? I know I have to remove the intake manifold to get to the fuel rail, and then pull the fuel rail with the injectors attached, I am just worried about damaging the injectors when I pull them out of the engine or off of the rail. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated."

There are some spelling errors in this link and it is for a car motor but I would assume pretty much the same for a boat engine...or at least it should get you thinking along the lines of the article,
