Do I need to run Plus or Super

Do I need to run Plus or Super grades for my '79 smallblock OMC/Chevy(stock)engine? Do they have higher compression #'s than say a car/truck? Or will regular unleaded be just fine for the engine and perfomance? Thanks

Marine engines are not high compression.
