Fuel filter overkill?

Hi, I have a 2000 200 hp Johnson j200vxsss I use a Sierra fuel water separator #18-7946 and a in line fuel filter brp#0360941, are two filters overkill possibley cause fuel restriction or is it the right setup, not getting any alarms just wondering

I am willing to bet that the fuel is filtered at the gas pump.--------Then perhaps pumped into your tank that has not been cleaned for 10 years.-----Then filtered as the motor pulls it from the tank.-------One water separating filter should be good enough.-----But make every effort to keep your fuel tank clean.
