Fuel dripping from carburetor drain into the lake

I have a 4-stroke 9HP Honda from the early 80's.
Some drops of fuel are dripping from the carburetor drain into the water about once every 10 seconds.
This is a recent problem.
Any fix to this?

Note: I recently cleaned the carburetor and changed the spark plugs.

Thanks

It's a pretty simple setup I believe.
There should be an o ring on the drain valve.
It might be damaged or dirt is in there.
Or it was tightened too much.

Did you dismantle the carb to clean it?
