fuel bleed down

I have 97 mercury 100 that keeps loosing its prime . I have replaced hose,bulb and connector to motor . rebuilt the fuel pump and still loosing the prime . I don't find any fuel leaks any suggestions ?
 
Check the fuel lines internally for cracks and loose connections. Replace as needed. If that checks out look at resetting the floats and possible needle valve stuck.
 
if the needle valve had a problem wouldn't it load up or gas pour out the vent on the carb , don't seem to find any fuel leaks when I pressure the system with the bulb
 
You would think you could see it but if it was similar to mine when I had the problem, it just wasted out a small tube into the bottom cowl, after very slowly leaking out. I didn't have enough fingers to plug the holes in the dike I have. Eventually they will all go away if you don't lose your mind first.
