Fresh Water Cooling System Leak

"I have a 1995 Bayliner 2452 with a Mercruiser 5.0, Alpha one equipped with a fresh water antifreeze cooling tank reservoir. The boat is in great shape with only 147 hours on it. During my check to de-winterize the boat, I noticed the antifreeze reservoir was empty. I replaced the antifreeze with a 50/50 mixture and noticed a few days later that antifreeze was leaking from the Alpha One outdrive water intake vents. The outdrive is in the down position. There is no signs of leaks in the bilge. It was suggested to me that it might be the heat riser leaking through but this happens with the engine off and sitting. Can you help with a diagnosis.

If anti-freeze is coming out o

If anti-freeze is coming out of the OD water pickup then the first place I would check is the heat exchanger.

If engine was improperly winterized, the possibility exists that one of more of the tubes in the heat exchanger split. This would allow anti freeze to run out of the engine."
