" Upon removing the lower unit
" Upon removing the lower unit on my 1980 Johnson 140hp V4. I found an O-Ring sitting in grease, on the tip of the drive shaft, above the upper spline. I also noticed a race below the spline.
When I go and install the unit, does this O-Ring sit as I found it above, or in the race below the spline? Thank You for your help "
