I have a Bayliner 1952 Capri with Ford marine Engine 2.3 and OMC sterndrive.
I have leaking water when the boat is on water between back of the Engine and sterndrive, somewhere in that big cogweel where the starter is. This leaks is only when the Engine is on and stops as son as i swich the Engine off. I tok up the boat and started it home with a muff, just to localisate the problem but it didn´t leak,. This boat is only leaking when it´s on water
This boat has not been started or winerize since 2012, maybe its has something to do with that (Winter crack)? Is there some metal lids near the big cogweel that jumps out when the water became to ice on Winter, just for security reason?
I need help where to start and search the leaking? Did anybody had the same problem?
