I have a 1999 Force 120 horsepower motor with a Laser II propeller. We were on the lake and hit some debris in the water that caused the prop to slip. After the impact the boat would not plane so we idled in to the dock. Later we started the motor and were able to go on plane as we carried it to load on the trailer. We had no abnormal noise during operation and once we removed the boat from the water we didn't see and exterior damage to the motor or boat with the exception of the sonar transmitter broken off. I have a couple of questions. 1: Is the plastic hub drive sleeve in the prop reusable once it cools or is it likely weakened from the slippage? 2: Should I inspect any other parts as a result of the impact such as the lower unit or motor tilt system?
