Joe so performed the piston test that you told me, the top piston is solid as a rock, but the lower piston has a slight inward movement. thier is no side play on either of them, tried the setting on the carburater but the top slow will only make like a 3/4 turn in total you asked me to give it 1 1/2 turns. thire were no pins or anathing stoping the needle from turning. so i left the setting as it was, can you tell me what is the correct gas oil mix for this motor? thank you"

"A 1962 what? There is something stoping the needle valve(s) from turning... look into it.

The needle valves screw into and out of the carburetor and that requires many turns, think about it."

So today I had a little

So today I had a little time to play with the motor and after pulling one too many times I decided to check the spark, I noticed that the spark is very weak, at times no spark at all. I think that's my biggest problem, now the way i was tought to check for spark was by inserting a wire into the wire that connects to the plug, is it ok to check for spark that way? Joe I'm the person that thought had a 15 HP 70S and you checked the serial # it turned out to be a 10 hp 62 sereial# 10024B"
