Flywheel holding tool on electric start ?

It might be easier to simply purchase an electric impact wrench...at least you could use it later on for other unrelated jobs...

An impact wrench will remove the flywheel nut, but you will need a flywheel holding tool to retorque the nut.
Go to your local auto parts store and get a flywheel turning tool that they use on cars.

Make sure before you do this "trick" the intake and exhaust ports are closed. And you will have to rotate the flywheel counter -clockwise before puttting in the rope. I've used this trick many times and had good luck with it. Sometimes you might have to stuff a little more rope in the cyl. But it does work
