Flywheel but torque spec?

Hello all!!

I have a 1988 Mercury 8 hp. My manual says nothing about flywheel removal or torq specs! If anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

50 foot pounds is the torque.

I typically remove the nut with an impact wrench (that way you don't have to hold the flywheel steady while trying to go at it with a socket).

I pull them (on the 25 horse and under) with a steering wheel puller (cheaper than a flywheel puller and fits fine - can get them for under 10 bucks at a discount auto place).
