Flushing with Lime-A-Way

Has anyone used Lime-A-Way to remove salt build up in the water jackets? Some mechanics are saying this is a safe and easy way to remove the deposits.

I use white vinegar and blue Dawn dish detergent mixed 50/50. Try it, you'll like it. The hard part is finding a bottle that will attach to your hose and flush muff setup. I would suggest just getting a bottle of the good ole Salt Away, but one of the ones with the new larger 6oz. mixing bottle, and when you're done with the Salt Away that comes with it just keep the mixer hose attachment and start using the white vinegar/Dawn mix. You can wash down the whole boat with it if you want to clear out any salt.

Here's a Salt Away with the new larger mix bottle on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Salt-Away-oz-plus-Mixing-Unit/dp/B006N0PMCM/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t
