I have a 59 Johnson 10hp (QD-20) I recently got a carburetor kit for it that came with a new float, needle, and seat among other items like washers and gaskets and so fourth.
I went to change the needle and seat and found that the new needle seat doesn't go in the housing right, turns hard after only a few turns.
So I figured I would put new needle in with old seat. One thing I noticed was that the new needle looked a little bigger than the old one and thought maybe I should put old needle back in. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
I appreciate any replies.
