Fixed Sea Pump But Burning Oil

So .. after my sea pump impeller disintegrated my 454's temp ran up and I shut it down when I saw some blue smoke. I replaced my Sea Pump and its running cool and smooth now on muffs but now I'm still seeing blue smoke on the right side exhaust. I pulled the plugs which are brand new and all the plugs look pretty good except for cylinder 1 which had a lot of black oily deposit on it. Next I did a leak down test on that head. (Did not do a compression test) All the cylinders had less than 20% loss of pressure however I could hear air passing through the oil filler and PVC vents. Not sure what the probable cause is now or what my next step is. Thinking head gasket???? Advice welcomed! Thanks

Between 10 and 20% max but I could hear air through the crank. The tester gauge shows up to 20 as king of typical and in the green zone but I'm not a mechanic. But why would cylinder 1 only have oil build up on the plug ? As long as there is nothing major that could break at this point I could just run and add oil as necessary to get through the season.

Life is short....so is the boating season...add some STP to the oil, use a hotter plug on the weak cylinder and deal with the problem after the season is over.

Ok..if I go that way now I need a hotter plug recommendation than the stock NGK br6fs cause no counter guy is going to know anything about the plugs he is selling.
