Hello fellow Merc owners,
Looking for a fitting for 2001 50 HP 2 cycle Merc lower (#3) carburetor. It is the fuel inlet fitting. It is a 90 degree fitting with a hose barb on one end. I cannot locate a replacement in any of the parts diagrams, and I think it is part of the carb body. I was able to get the broken piece out. It appears to be a "press in" or "Glue in". There are no threads in the hole.
Any help or advice, salvage yard or rebuilder I could contact to get one? I am at a dead end with this. The carb is otherwise functional so buying a new one is not my choice. A used core would be a good solution I guess.
