Fish line on prop shaft help

"got 73 19ft bayliner with 165

"got 73 19ft bayliner with 165 in line 6. took for a trial run and when got home pulled plug on lower unit to check-full of water.
pulled prop and found fish line waded up on shaft. pretty sure this is what caused seal to fail.
my question is can i pry this seal out and get a new one in will i be good to go
also all i can find is the drain plug in the bottom of the drive. i feel like a dummy but for the life of me i cant find a fill level plug higher on the lower unit any info any one can pass along will be a big help.
