Finding the right shop manuals for Johnsons

If I wanted to find the shop manual for a 1983 7.5hp, I know ebay is supposedly the place to go, but there are always several different manuals on there, and it's hard to figure out which one is the one I'm looking for.

Any suggestions?

Look up your model # on the transom bracket and try to match the book that way.
