"Thanks for the help last time guys. I think that was the problem. Ok, now I need to know about the final drive gear oil. Down in the differential, down by the prop, what kind of oil do I use, and how do I check it. This is my first boat, so I am learning as I go. Thanks for everything again! "75-90W gear oil is fine....To

"75-90W gear oil is fine....To check, locate the bottom plug aand loosen it slightly, and note if any water comes out..then remove the plug completely for just a second and then replace..If the oil is dark and even down to black,then it should be changed..If it is a white-yellow creamy liquid that comes out, then change it...this is water and oil trying to mix...."
