I'm not sure which screw is the vent screw on this motor. Typically it's about half way up the lower unit but on this model there are two at the very top of the lower unit. The parts diagram shows one as a "plug" which is plastic and there is another one that is a very small one and the diagram says it a "grease vent" screw. If I fill the unit to either one of these, the unit will be totally full. I thought there needs to be room for air. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

The small screw is the VENTand you remove it.-----The bottom screw is the DRAIN / FILL screw.-----The plastic screw has to do with flushing the motor with fresh water !!----------You fill from the bottom with the motor in the normal running position till it comes out the small screw hole.-install the small screw.--Then remove your filling device and install the botom screw.----Use new gaskets on the screws.

Thanks, that's the way I figured it. Just never saw such a small vent hole. Thanks for every one's response! :)
