I have a 1999 175hp ficht with good compression. the motor ran fine when I got it. At that time it did not want to idle but would run strong once moving. now it runs like garbage wont go over 3300rpms and has much more oil in the prop exhuast hole the the other motor next to it. When she was running good both seemed to use the same amount of oil. always xp-100
I was told the motor had all the updates to2001 it has pinned heads and the plugs were replaced and indexed along with both fuel filters I just got the software and I'm trying to figure it out now. does anyone have any suggestions where to go
