Feedback on Delco Voyager EST Ignition Kit from Points

Hi,

I am thinking about converting to an HEI ignition from points, and I also want to do away with mechanical advance, with the weights, springs, and the things that the corrosive salt water does to metal things. I took one look in my Mallory distributor and saw how boogered up the mechanical advance was, and almost immediately started looking at what else was out there to update it.

Short of getting a computer, the Delco Voyager EST looks to be the best of what I am looking for. I was wondering if others who have updated their engines with this could tell me what, if any, improvements they saw with their Crusaders.

The Voyager's are pretty well behaved. One shortcoming they have, that the Mallory units don't, is that there is no method to modify the advance curve. If you can live with the default curve in the module, go for it.
