fed up now need pro help VRO 60HP 1989

hi Happy Easter. I own a 1989 60hp VRO Evinrude the problems are :-
she will start and run at my house with muffs on OK
at sea she will run ok for a while, then when we stop to anchor she will stall in idle few seconds, when re starting later she will hardly run, use the warm up throttle part, put into gear she will just die if you try to put to many revs on. i have tried 2 different types of plugs champion and ngk, i think possible she as ordinary 2 stroke oil moped scooter ?? ouch. petrol is fresh plugs new?? vro works as we mark the tank.

nearly hit wall today coming along side went from 10 knts to idle to going a stern and she stalled.

please help.

just to note that spark plugs were checked after engine stalling when brought home no sign of oiling up??
also what oil do you recomend to put in vro tank??

spark plugs should be champion not NGK. sounds like the carbs need to be cleaned, make sure you clean all the passages and holes on the carbs,
