"Fixing up an old abused motor
"Fixing up an old abused motor. At this time I'm working on the lower unit seals, and when I took the prop off I found that it has a 9x9 prop on it. Ok fine. I look up whats suposed to be on there as a general use prop, needs to be 9x10. Spring time I'm gonna put it on a 14' aluminum boat, me(220lbs), gear, 6 gallons of gas, 15lbs anchor, battery. Is that about what, 260-270lbs? Is the load I'm speaking of above or below "general use"? Thanks for any comments or ideas."
