"Ran the engine today. New 200

"Ran the engine today. New 2007 5.7L with only 6.5hours. After starting the engine, the Murphy Power View display alarms with the code: DTC 280-#7 injector coil shorted. Engine now knocks. Anyone have experience with this problem and is it a major fix. Thanks"

"It sounds like an injector came unplugged. Check them by giving a little tug on the connector where it plugs onto the injector. Make sure it is snapped securely in place. If this is the problem, your knock is from the lean condition created when the injector stopped firing and should be cured when the condition is corrected.

thanks for the reply.

thanks for the reply. Just checked the injector plugs. All were in place securely. I unplugged the ECM module plug to let air out thinking moisture may be causing the short. No Luck, still showing #7 injector coil short .looks like a call is in order to Crusader on monday. thanks again."
