Fastwin 18hp 1972 model?

Hi everyone. Im new to this forum and have a few questions. I just picked up this 18hp fastwin and it needs a little tlc before I put it on my boat. Its missing a prop and the lid latch is missing the piece that the little lock arm grabs to hold it down. So here are my questions. 1) I need a new kill switch/button, prop, hood latch, and that little white plastic piece that hold the fuel mix adjust rod to the motor on the front (that nob controls rich and lean), where can I find these? 2) Possibly need a new master seal kit for the bottom end? And probably a water pump but the current water pump works just fine. 3) Was told I should re grease or get new bottom end bearing behind where the prop goes? 4) What fuel mix do I need to run? And does the ENTER key not work on this forum to shift down? Thanks everyone
 
Water pump impellers must be replaced on a regular basis.-------Big mistake not to put a new one in yours.------------No warning system on your motor to let you know it is overheating.--------The motor in the picture appears to be a 72 model.--------------Look riight here on this site to see what parts you need for the prop.----------Big red letters at top of this page.

1) You are right here at one of the best sources of vintage parts. If it is available, marineengine.com probably has it. 2) See #1 3) There is no separate bearing to grease. However, the lower unit gearcase is filled with 80-90 weight gear oil. Extremely important that it is. 4) Use regular unleaded gas and TC-W3 outboard oil. Mix is 50-1, which is one pint of oil per gallon of gas. 4-1/2) Enter key doesn't space down a line for me either.

Thanks. No one seems to carry a complete water pump kit anymore. Or maybe I'm missing something. And is it ok to use like mid grade or premium/super instead of regular? And the gear oil can be from like napa? Or is there marine gear oil...
 
Complete water pump kit is part number 382468. Get it here at iboats, 10+ in stock. Higher octane gas won't hurt it but is not necessary. Automotive gear oil will bring up a lot of discussion, but marine lube is easy to get so why mess with anything else. You can get some here along with your pump kit.

Glad nobody seemed to notice that I mentioned some other durn store in the previous post that I corrected. This here happens to be marineengine's store, and I don't think it is nice to send people somewhere else. Especially since "somewhere else" wouldn't have it anyway.
