Faria Tachometer Help

"I've got a 1972 Johnson 50HP,2-cycle, 2-cylinder, and want to put a tachometer on it. I bought a Faria, 7000 RPM used tach that came off a 50 HP Evinrude before he junked the boat. Therefore there is no wiring harness with it. It is a TCC602A (model) and there are two connectors on the back. They are six-pin, male and female pin connectors and I have no idea where to get these connectors for it or how they are hooked up to the engine if I can find them?? I looked for Faria on the net but could not find this model number..H E L P...JIM"

"Jim, A Johnson manual could help you. Normally a tach would have conections for power, ground, lights and alternator signal. You could make a harness for it out of individual wires, or perhaps Johnson will sell you one. Does the Tach happen to have some idiot lights also? These may before the VRO (low oil tank level, no oil in motor), overheat and something else.

I have a problem with my Faria tach on my '98 150HP, and have been awaiting my manual for three frusting weeks."
