Failed to Identify Johnson V4 Outboard G2260157

"It's a V4.. claimed to be

"It's a V4.. claimed to be 140HP and claimed to be 125HP.
Built late 80's or early 90's.. All I have is G2260157 embossed
on the block..

I can take pictures, but I don't know where to aim..

The previous owner claims model # J125WTPLW serial # A2260157 .. Unable to verify..

Speedy help would be appreciated.."

"Take a look at the carbs. They should have stickers with part numbers, compare those numbers with the BRP part catalog. Do the same for the power pack. That might give You more detailed info.
Model number should be on port side bracket."

Doesnt identify year, model etc. From a model number you decode model, year etc etc like vic decoded on your first post.

On the exhaust plate of your engine which is the plate between the cylinder heads, you should see that is is bulged not flat? the bulge is a pulse tuned exhaust system which is the 140hp power head"

To find details about Your engine: The simplest way is MODEL number, that is the way the system is made up. Serial number may only give an info if 'early'/ 'late' within the model number type."
